DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS

Department of Electronics

a. About Department (History) –

In June 1987, to fulfil the need and demand of Students in this region to study latest and professional subjects, Arts, Commerce & Science College run by Adarsh Education Society, Hingoli introduced Electronics as an optional subject at BSc undergraduate level. First batch passed out in March/April 1990. In all 34 batches have been passed out.

Dr Ashok Lathi was the first head of the department who served the department from August 1987 to July 2022. Presently, Associate Prof. Dr Pradeep Achole is head of the department from September 2022. He is working in the department since August 1988. Associate prof. Santosh Agrawal, appointed in the department in August 1989, served up to April 2013. Assistant Prof. (CHB) Mr. Ram Devhade is working in the department since July 2023.

Electronics Department is dedicated to provide high quality education and fostering innovation in the field of electronics.

We have well-equipped laboratory with necessary instruments like CROs, Frequency Generators, Micro-controller kits, Microprocessor Kits, OP-AMP kits, DAC, ADC, LCD Projector etc. The faculty, as BOS member, is involved in the academic curriculum design process of the Affiliating University. The department holds a good record of academic results. Various activities like certificate course, class seminars etc are undertaken by the department. The faculties have developed E-content and published the same through the e-platforms like YouTube, WhatsApp etc.
